Reese Minett

Reese Minett - Criminology/Psychology Undergrad from Parkland, Florida

A Florida State University co-ed from South Florida, Reese Minett was a student leader, playing a vital role at North Broward Preparatory School in South Florida before going to college. Here, Reese Minett was the president of the school’s psychology club.

As president, Ms. Minett organized and led club meetings, events, and fundraisers. She motivated members to participate in activities and foster a collaborative environment. She also worked with school administration and community organizations to plan service projects and initiatives, thus enhancing the club’s profile and impact.

In the past, Ms. Minett volunteered with Equine Assisted Therapies of South Florida, where she assisted with caring for and grooming therapy horses, prepared them for sessions with children, and encouraged children during horseback riding lessons. She was also a volunteer at Bonafide Therapy Dog, a non-profit that trains dogs to be therapy animals. She socialized dogs, training them in obedience, comfort, and interaction skills to work with people who are elderly.

As of Fall 2023, Ms. Minett has been pursuing a bachelor’s degree in criminology and psychology, with plans to attend law school. Since her time at FSU, she has been involved with the FSU Women in Pre-Law Club and a member of the law fraternity Phi Alpha Delta. She has also worked with Total Health and Rehab Centers.
